TEAM PROJECT HUB: organising your project team for new builds and refits
A year ago Hubware commenced design work on version 4 of its Techman Hub product.
The goal was to reimagine from the ground up, using newly-available technology for both mobile and desktop interfaces. It had to work off-line, on-board, and synchronise to a secure onshore server.
The design process took several months but before pressing the big green GO button we took a new look to see where it would sit in the growing Vessel Management Software market.
That was when we saw Deep Blue’s offering, and rapidly understanding that theirs would be the product to beat, we talked to the Deep Blue team about their development background and technology, recognising that it would be smarter to join them.
As a result, we formed an alliance between Hubware and Deep Blue – bringing you a team that combines Hubware’s knowledge and experience with Deep Blue’s excellent development team – and from 2019 will be offering only Deep Blue for on-board Vessel Management.
This allows Hubware to concentrate its development energies on Team projectHUB, to help owners’ teams better collaborate during the build phase.
